Back from Brunei yesterday... I officially have an intense dislike for my mum's boss' wife. That person has been hounding my mum for my results, asking when it will come out. She is just like a bloodhound... wun stop until she gets to the bottom of things related to my results. That woman is quite a pain in the neck... it is rather obvious she wants to compare results... her daughter graduated from secondary skool last year.
Brunei - Day 1: most of Brunei is still covered in forests of trees, and it is a way bigger country than SG, it is a rich country but seriously empty for its size with a population of less than half a million ppl. It is just like a really empty Malaysia. I spent the day at sawmills and timber factories... waddling abt in sawdust. And to one of the timber places I had a really fun bumpy ride in a land rover. Dad's business partner was over enthu abt hosting us.
Day 2: woke up at 6am... >____<>Brunei taman negara... the tourists were all caucasians 6 of them and the guide to the national park was a tribal guy that committed himself to tourism and can speak english. From then on I was known as "little girl" the tribal boat ride was fun...they fixed a motor into it. Trekking in the national park was like experiencing a more horrible EFL. The ground was seriously muddy... and it did not help when I noticed my shoes were falling apart after reaching the canopy walk... this made the getting back down part bad with the worry my shoes will completely fall apart. 2 guys went swimming in the stream and the whole grp except for me went to the waterfall... I couldn't, not when my shoes completely fell apart. So when we got back to the jetty I bought new slippers that were really slippery... no choice. Everyone knew my shoes fell apart and were all sorta eager to see my new shoes. Especially Mr. Holland-guy. When my slippers are put together u will see a ladybird... :3 it is cute, but that is all to it.
Day 3: I met the daughters of dad's business partner. When I saw the oldest one... she reminded me of Carolyn Fah... immediate thought. We went to the museum... 2 words to describe the insides of the museum " extremely bling" It was basically flashing gold and silver. Bling alert. The auntie bought me loads of chocolate... Then we went to the airport... time to fly home.
Went to my uncle's home straight frm airport. It turned into a pester-your-cousin-session for me... I like to annoy him... a hobby. Yes Leh if u are reading that cousin is Benjamin.
